In Mansfiled , Ct. find out where there was grist. Not now but long ago.  Rivers powered old stones to grind local farmers grain. Dirt roads , not far from UCONN, now part of a special land trust who work hard to make Mansfiled a better place to live.  This location requires you to be VERY DISCREET  don't be seen.  It's a great place for a picnic which would make good cover for your activity.  When there follow these simple directions:

from the center of the front step  go 20 degrees  , 13 paces.  next reading is 280 degrees 12 paces.  At 120 degrees you'll find your box. Remeber don't be seen getting it.                   Good Luck

Carolyn, you're on a roll! And I just realized that I've MISSED on
the map making! No offense, I hope, but I had mixed up Mansfield with
Manchester and the spots are not even close on the Hartford map. I'll
try and re-do them in the next couple of days to be more accurate.
Hope it doesn't confuse your 4-H'rs.

Fantastic work, by the way!

Wow, you are really on a roll!!  This weekend we found your 4 other Cock-A-Doodle Moo boxes.  They were great!!! We really enjoyed following your clues. They were very clever!!  Keep up the great work.  We will be up again soon to find this new box.
