Carolyn, you're on a roll! And I just realized that I've MISSED on
the map making! No offense, I hope, but I had mixed up Mansfield with
Manchester and the spots are not even close on the Hartford map. I'll
try and re-do them in the next couple of days to be more accurate.
Hope it doesn't confuse your 4-H'rs.

In Mansfiled , Ct. find out where there was
grist. Not now but long ago. Rivers powered old stones to grind local
farmers grain. Dirt roads , not far from UCONN, now part of a special land trust
who work hard to make Mansfiled a better place to live. This location
requires you to be VERY DISCREET don't be seen. It's a great place
for a picnic which would make good cover for your activity. When there
follow these simple directions:
from the center of the front
step go 20 degrees , 13 paces. next reading is 280 degrees 12
paces. At 120 degrees you'll find your box. Remeber don't be seen getting
it.
